Chief of the Oblieman Traditional area and Emissary of Education for Montessori Model United Nations-West Africa, Nii Ayitey Anumle Oyanka I also known as King Oyanka, has been recognised and awarded for his exceptional leadership traits.
King Oyanka was presented the award for the best Traditional Ruler of the year 2023/2024 by the momentous magazine prestigious personality awards scheme. In his honour, a crystal award plaque and a citation was presented to him all the way from Nigeria.
The award recognises and chides the overlord of Oblieman man for his diligence and ability to promote and maintain peace within and outside his jurisdiction. His contribution towards philantropism was also recognised.
Momentous Magazine eulogised king oyanka as a selfless Traditional Ruler who has defied all odds and has distinguished himself as a different leader through the promotion of technology among his subjects with emphasis on NFTs.
In his response, Nii Ayitey expressed his profound gratitude towards the organisers of the award for recognising his works he does. He promised to continue and project all he has planned to ensure his footprints are indelible on the lives of both his subjects and people around the world.
King Oyanka seized the opportunity to call on all Traditional Rulers to use their position to champion impactful projects and also to inculcate long term visions that will see the youth of the nation reach global standard.
The awards presentation was done at the Oblieman Palace in Accra with the attendance of the media and some Traditional elders of the Oblieman Traditional Area and the kinsmen of the Abola Piam Royal clan.
