Faustina Agyeiwaa Kodua is appointed by Akufo-Addo to lead the CID.
Faustina Agyeiwaa Kodua Andoh-Kwofie, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), has been chosen to lead the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
She will take over for COP Isaac Yeboah, who will retire from active duty on September 22, 2022, the Graphic reports.
At the National Police Training School in Accra, the Ghana Police Service conducted a pull-out ceremony for COP Isaac Ken Yeboah Rtd.
In addition to other top police personnel including the Inspector-General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, previous IGPs Patrick Acheampong and David Asante-Apeatu were also there.
She was the Director in charge of the Commercial Crime Unit within the CID at the National Police Headquarters until she was elevated last year to lead the Intelligence Department.
