On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the Accra High Court, headed over by Justice Audrey Kocuvi-Tay, granted the bail.

The two entered not guilty pleas to 24 counts, which included money laundering, purposeful waste of public funds, stealing, deceiving by false pretences, and using public position for personal gain.

Hannan Abdul-Wahab was given GH¢100 million bail with six sureties, four of whom had to provide proof of landed property.

In addition to providing copies of their Ghana Cards, the sureties must notify the court of any address changes.

The second defendant, Faiza Seidu Wuni, was given GH¢50 million bail with four sureties, three of whom also had to provide proof of landed property.

Every Wednesday, she must report to the investigator and deposit all of her passports.

Additionally, the court has put both accused individuals on a stop list for all national entry and departure points.

The case will now take place on November 27, 2025, at a Case Management Conference.
