Over the weekend, a video with background commentary made rounds on social media platforms purportedly showing the murd£r of someone by the Omanhene of Hemang, a town in the Ashanti Region.

Following the release of the viral video, some irate youth of the town tried to attack the chief at his palace and even tried burning the palace down.

Subsequently, the accusations in the video were determined to be false as a closer look showed it wasn’t a human being sacrificed but rather a dog.

This revelation therefore prompted the Ashanti regional police command to go on a manhunt to arrest the suspects who are suspected to have deliberately tried to cause unrest in the town.

The lady who took and run commentary in the video and four other Male residents of the town who tried burning down the town are now in police custody awaiting further processing for prosecution.
