Pertaining to a petition put forward to the Commission for Human Rights and Admnsitrative Justice by Mr. Brogya Gyamfi, a key NDC communication team member has been rubbished by Mr. Ishak Brobbey-a lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University.
According to Ishak, he has keenly monitored macro-economic operations since the NPP government took over power, he says that all indications have proven that the Euro-Bond had been diligently done without blemish; and added that there is no element of conflict of interest.
Mr. Brobbey emphasised that Brogya Gyamfi has recently expressed interest in contesting for election as a National Youth Organiser of the main opposition party-NDC; and this explains why he (Brogya) is embarking on this hopeless pursuit.
‘He is just suffocating and struggling with the situation of his party in opposition, and hungry for power as he desires to be elected as a National Youth Organiser of his party’, Mr. Brobbey said.
Ishak refused to delve into the matter proper for fear of contempt and says that the minister of finance will duly come out clean soon.
It is important to iterate that the purpose of the said bond will reduce the debt-to-GDP of Ghana to take care of the mess the Mahama led NDC left behind.
