ADWOA SAFO FOUNDATION DONATES FOOD ITEMS AND CASH TO TWO ORPHANAGES

 

 

Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has donated some food items, water, toys and an undisclosed amount of money to two Orphanages in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency.

According to her, the donations forms part of the Adwoa Safo Foundation’s support in taking care of the needy and less priviledged in society.

Delivering the items and cash, Hon Adwoa Safo said “I am here once again on behalf of the Adwoa Safo Foundation to donate these items to my little brothers and sisters. As promised, you are on my heart and I will ensure I provide all you need to make you feel happy”

The MP who doubles as Founder of the Adwoa Safo Foundation tasked the managers of both Orphanages to ensure each child benefits from the donations presented.
She also used the opportunity to educate the children in both Orphanages on the need to regularly wash their hands with soap under running water, use the sanitizers and adhere to social distancing protocols.
Hon Adwoa Safo also noted that adhering to the directives of President Akufo-Addo will go a long way to ensure the reduction on the spread of the novel virus.

Receiving the items, Manager of the HandiVangelism Orphanage at Haatso, Pastor Ashley thanked the Member of Parliament for the kind gesture and assured her of the good use of the items presented. He also thanked her for continually remembering the Orphanage since she first made a personal donation to them six years ago.

On the other hand, Founder of Motherly Love Foundation at Kwabenya, Reverend John Azumah used the occasion to call on other Philanthropists and Organisations to emulate the kind gesture of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo and reach out to the less privileged in the society. He also expressed gratitude to the Adwoa Safo Foundation for their continuous support to the Motherly Love Foundation and for organising a Christmas Party for all 48 kids of the Orphanage at the Labadi Beach Hotel last December.

 

The children from both orphanages could not hide their joy for the gifts presented to them and profusely prayed for Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo and wished her well.
The kids at the Motherly Love Foundation who were overjoyed with the presence of the Beautiful Member of Parliament and Minister of State-In-Charge of Public Procurement sang and danced with the Member of Parliament.
