HON. KWADWO BAAH AGYEMANG PICKS NOMINATION FORMS TO CONTEST THE PARLIAMENTARY SEAT FOR THE ASANTE AKYEM NORTH CONSTITUENCY ON THE TICKET OF THE NPP.

The Chairman for the governing board of the National Sports Authority and former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, has picked nomination forms to contest the 2020 Parliamentary elections.

Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang picked his nomination forms on Monday, 27th January, 2020, at the New Patriotic Party office at Asante Akyem North Constituency. He was accompanied by friends, family, well wishers and some Polling station executives.

Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, became MP in 2012 when the Asante Akyem North District was seceded from Asante Akyem Central. Because of his party activism, commitment and dedication to work, in 2017, he was appointed by the first gentleman of the land, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, to Chair the Board of National Sports Authority. He is set to give the incumbent MP a very tight competition as his performance rating for the past 3 years is nothing to write home about with Constituents including delegates calling for his exit.

Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang speaking to the media after he picked the form said this is just the beginning and that he is determined to snatch the seat from the incumbent so he can help make Asante Akyem North Great Again (MAANGA). He further stated that his decision to contest the primaries was in response to the persistent calls on by the constituents. He promised to help fix the many challenges the constituency faces when given the mandate. He further admonished his followers to engage in decent campaigning, devoid of insults, lies and character assassination but, should rather work hard to ensure his victory come 15th April, 2020 and that of the party in the general elections.
