Sankofa Job: Ghana’s New Employment Platform Set to Open Doors for Job Seekers on October 30
Ghanaians searching for employment opportunities could soon have a new digital resource, as G&T Prestige Ltd. prepares to launch Sankofa Job, a platform designed to connect job seekers with employers and businesses across the country.
The platform is scheduled to launch on Friday, October 30, 2026. According to the company, job seekers will be able to access the service free of charge, create profiles, explore available vacancies and apply for suitable positions.
The initiative is aimed at helping people connect with potential employers while encouraging businesses to make genuine job opportunities more accessible to qualified Ghanaian candidates.
A New Opportunity for Ghanaian Job Seekers
Finding suitable employment can be challenging, particularly for young people entering the job market after completing school or National Service. Sankofa Job aims to provide a digital meeting point where employers can advertise vacancies and prospective employees can search for opportunities.
G&T Prestige Ltd. is encouraging businesses to publish legitimate job openings and offer fair compensation. The company is also seeking partnerships with government institutions, public agencies, private-sector organisations and other stakeholders interested in supporting employment creation.
Graduates, National Service personnel and other job seekers are among the groups the initiative hopes to reach.

Founder Shares the Inspiration Behind Sankofa Job
Anthony Akwasi Gyamfi, PharmD, founder and chief executive officer of G&T Prestige Ltd., says the project reflects his desire to bring knowledge and opportunities back to Ghana after gaining experience abroad.
Explaining the motivation behind the initiative, he said:
“Sankofa means ‘go back and get it’. I went far, I learnt, and now I have come back to bring it home. If a young man with one book bag and no dollar could cross the bridge, so can you. And this time, you will not cross alone.”
The message reflects the philosophy behind Sankofa, a concept associated with returning to retrieve valuable knowledge and using it to build a better future.
Through the platform, the company hopes to encourage collaboration between employers, experienced professionals and people seeking opportunities to establish themselves in the workforce.
Ghanaians Abroad Encouraged to Help
G&T Prestige Ltd. is also inviting Ghanaians living overseas to contribute to the initiative by mentoring young professionals, recruiting Ghanaian talent, investing in opportunities and sharing information about the platform with family and friends at home.
