Minister of Special Development Initiatives, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomsom has revealed that 80 percent of his projects will be complete by December this year.
She said this in an interview with Fly FM reporter Georgina Ampiah at Ministry of Information conference Hall, Accra.
According to the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East constituency, they have complete 50 ware houses across the country, 570 dams, 1,000 toilet,1,000 drainage systems and 270 ambulances procurement process on the pipeline, markets and clinics are also ongoing in the constituencies.
She added that,the 1 million dollars per constituency will not been given to any MP or any person as a gift but will use to complement some of the projects the exiting Ministers are doing.
Madam Hawa Koomsom explain that, they have used Gh¢927,000,000 from the Gh¢1.2 billion of the last year’s budget allocated to the ministry for the project.
She also said that, the challenges they are facing is 1 procurement process can take them about 4-5 month before they can finish and they’re now setting up Development Authorities.
