Will Prez. Akufo Addo Reduce his long Convoy too? – Hadji

 

President Akufo Addo has performed a governance ritual by reshuffling by reassigning his ministers to undertake new task in government.

The reshuffling exercise which was communicated through a Press release by the communication bereau at the Jubilee House signed by Mr. Eugene Arhin, has been dubbed as a limited exercise and giving indications that there is more to follow.

The move has angered sections of the general public who has also implored the President to immediately slash the number of his long convoy to a minimal level. Currently there are media revelations and incontrovertible observations that the President fleets of Convoy stands at about forty-five (45). A number which have received an incessant backlash from the public and patrons on social media, with many ridiculing the Presidency over the issue and comparing the observation to practices in advance countries.

Reacting to the news break on the reshuffling by twilight on Thursday. Hon. Hadji Mustaphar, a Parliamentary hopeful in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency of the Greater Accra region has jibed President Nana Addo over exhibiting what he fumed as Much ado about nothing since the supposed reshuffling has not led to a depreciative cap in 998 Presidential staffers and 110 unprecedented ministers in his administration which have also been ballooned now to 111 after the first batch of the reshuffling.

He has therefore admonished the President to reduced the elephant size of his errands convoy to protect the dwindling national kitty from further leaking.
